CON-MEN BUILDERS FOILED
There have been incidents in the villages recently of 'travelling builders' targetting elderly residents and persuading them that urgent work is required to their property. Due to alert co-ordinators and members, on two occasions these charactors were interviewed by the police and left the area empty-handed (at least one had a previous record for burglary).
Please be alert for this kind of attack on our vulnerable neighbours and report any suspicions immediately.
