THREE HOUSE BURGLARIES
Today,Thursday 27th May, three houses in Birstall were burgled. The offences are all thought to have taken place around midday in the following locations:- (a) Loughborough Road (between Hermitage Road/Red Hill Circle) (b) Mill Close (c) Front Street. In each case rear windows/doors were broken to gain access.

If you saw or have heard anything suspicious around this time, please report it to the police ( 0116 2222222 ).

Cricket Pavilion latest - 3 arrested and bailed
A 21-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, a 16-year-old youth and 15-year-old youth have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
