White Van - Warning
We have been informed of a white Ford Transit van, reg No. M455 VOO, in the area supposedly collecting scrap. Two men have been seen with this vehicle, one aged approx 60 yrs and one in his late teens.
They have been seen acting suspiciously and we are warning everyone to be wary and advising you not to have any dealings with these people.

Distraction Burglaries
There have been two distraction type burglaries in Birstall this week.
Both incidents were on Wanlip Lane, between Lambourne Road and Myrtle Avenue.

The first was on Sunday 8th January at approx 5.00 pm. The suspect is white, aged mid thirties with scatches on his face and has prominent eyes. He was wearing a black mackintosh.

The second was on Monday 9th January again at approx 5.00 pm. The suspect is white, aged early twenties and wearing a hooded top. He was last seen on foot in Myrtle Avenue.
