Police Surgery.
Our Advice Shop on Saturday 16th September will include a 'Police Surgery' for the residents of Birstall and Wanlip.
A Police Officer will be available between 10.00am and 12.00 noon to talk to any residents. A private room will be available.
Just call in at the former Parish Council office on the Sibson Road car park.
Warning - Travellers.
There are travellers staying in the area at the moment and we have received reports of door-step callers touting for work being very persistant. There have also been reports of offers being made to buy caravans and vehicles, again using persistant and annoying methods.
Our advice is not to have anything to do with these people.
If you need work doing on your property, rely on the recommendations of your friends and neighbours, there are plenty of local established businesses who would be interested.
Please report any suspicious activity immediately on (0116) 2222222.
