Warning over postal scam
Leicestershire Constabulary is warning members of the public about a postal scam which is operating nationally.

Cards are being posted through letterboxes from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service). The cards suggest that the company was unable to deliver a parcel to your address and urge you to contact them on 0906 6611911, which is a premium rate number.

DO NOT call this number. It costs £1.50 per minute from BT landlines.

This scam is currently under investigation by ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator).

People who receive a card with these details are urged to contact Royal Mail Fraud on 0207 239 6655, ICSTIS at www.icstis.org.uk or your local trading standards office.
