Burglars disturbed - Stonehill Avenue - witnesses?
On 9th November at around 4pm on Stonehill Avenue, two white males were seen carrying a TV set. When they were disturbed by a neighbour, they left it at the scene.

The two males were aged about 14 years, one with a white anorak and one with a black (possibly duffle style) coat.

Did you see anything suspicious? Do you know who these two are? Call the police on 222 2222 or Crime Stoppers (free and anonymous) on 0800 555 111. This is a police operated recording machine available 24hrs. You do not have to give your name and nobody will contact you.

Police Surgery
Our Advice Shop on Saturday 18th November will include a 'Police Surgery' for the residents of Birstall and Wanlip.
A Police Officer will be available between 10.00am and 12.00 noon to talk to any residents. A private room will be available.
Just call in at the former Parish Council office on the Sibson Road car park.

Burglar - Jailed.
Glyn Trevor Goddard (22) has been jailed for two and a half years for burglary.
He admitted to 50 burglaries accross Leicestershire, including Denegate Avenue, Birstall and in Wanlip village.
The offences were committed to finance his drug use.

BURGLARY
On Wednesday 8th November at approximately 7.00pm, a house at the lower end of Johnson Road was burgled. The occupier was in at the time.
Did you see or hear anything suspicious around this time in the Johnson Road/Went Road/Loughborough Road area.
Please report anything to the police on (0116) 2222222.
