How to contact the Police
You should only use 999 in an emergency - for example when life is in danger or a crime is being committed.
Otherwise use 0116 222 2222 in situations that do not require immediate police attendance.
You can also leave a message on the Force's voice mail system for a particular officer by calling 0116 222 2222 - remember to have the officer's voice mail number (which is the same as their collar number) handy as you will be asked to key it in.
Our local beat police officer is PC 815 Chris Falle.
Our local Police Community Support Officer is PCSO 6611 Mark Butler.Leicestershire Constabulary provides a 24-hour policing service but there may be times when you need to go into a police station. Listed below are the addresses of local policing units that cover our area - the North area - together with their usual opening times. Whilst the police try hard to make sure that the opening hours are kept to there may be occasions when, due to operational reasons, it may be necessary to change them.
During opening hours all local stations can be contacted by calling (0116) 222 2222.
